GETTING STARTED

Crafting a cool title for my blog was difficult, for I didn’t want to be pigeon-holed into a single purpose for my blog.  I like to tell stories. That’s it. But I didn’t want my stories to be limited to teaching, childhood, parenting, nature   . . .

So at the suggestion of my husband, I riffed on one of my many favorite Grateful Dead songs to create Tales in a Jar.  My goal is to recreate the stories of my life, from the mundane to life-changing. I hope you’ll join me and enjoy the ride.
